Best bird book for Missouri. I've got some year old grandkids in Kansas City that I want to get into birding, what is the best bird book for that area? I don't know if I should get them an eastern or western book. Thanks in advance! Love this book series by Stan Tekiela. I have purchased the Illinois version for myself, as I live in Illinois, and then the Missouri version because I am frequently birding in Missouri.
I purchased the Texas version for my mom, and when I went to visit her, I was stunned to find that the Texas book is almost twice as thick as my Illinois!/5().
