Belong anywhere with Airbnb.   My husband and I stayed in one of the yurts at Camp Morton. We stayed during the week (M-W).; It was so paceful (earily peaceful). There isn't a lot to do, but as a couple we were happy to enjoy a quiet walk down the beach and sit on the rocks in the sun enjoying the waves of the lake.4/5.

I fully agree with this. In my view one of the worst aspects of the war, on both sides, was prisoner treatment. As I said, Camp Morton was considered a model camp, yet died there. The tales from Camp Douglass, Point Lookout, Libby, Belle Isle and their ilk are deplorable. Both sides should have done more to properly care for prisoners.

Boot Camp, Morton Rhue This time I want to talk about my favourite book, which is “Boot Camp” by Morton Rhue. I don’t know how many of you have read it or at least know what it’s about, but just to give you a slight insight of the content, I will summarize the plot. My husband and I stayed in one of the yurts at Camp Morton. We stayed during the week (M-W).; It was so paceful (earily peaceful).
